What could be better than lots of blues and browns?

CAS
My take on a CAS, clean and simple, Christmas card. Not your typical Christmas colors, but I like the pink/green combo.

Bows bows bows
Another Christmas card to post. I finished three cards today in between a nap, grocery shopping, and a Walking Dead marathon. The ornament on this card is cut from a piece of patterned paper I just had to have. The back red layer has been run through a cuttlebug to give some dimension. I was happy with the layering but the bow not so much. I fiddled with it for about 30 minutes and got it to look ok.
Thank you to Allison of Allison's Creations for the sketch.
Poinsettia
Not sure I should send this off to OWH. No one in my family knew it was a poinsettia. Maybe I should try to find another focal point or change the colors.

Really?
Fifty-nine cards stamped and ready to go out to Operation Write Home. I have the weekend to finish up more Christmas cards and get them out on Tuesday or they don't go out this year. It sounds ridiculous to say my Christmas cards are done for the year when it's not even Halloween, but the OWH shippers need time to get these cards over to our soldiers. For anyone interested in making cards to send over, the deadline is actually October 31 but as I will be out of town no more cards for me.

Cardmaking day
Saturday was World Cardmaking Day and I did get a few cards made for OWH, Operation Write Home. Tracy and I then hooked up with some new friends at the arboretum. Then we all went and had dinner at another friend's house.
